A Uniball Kuru Toga? They have a similarly springy mechanism that is designed to use the up and down spring motion to rotate the lead a bit each time. I like them for general drawing, don't recall the lead breaking ever. For shop use I stick to Ticonderogas for various reasons, but I'm still a sucker for mechanical pencils (have been since I had a red Scripto 1.1.mm in the 4th grade :D )
