pop rivets ()

Wiley, do not be tempted to use a pop rivet gun on a Stanley plane! These tools do not adjust the force with which they join the rivet and its head. It is all-or-nothing. Not only is it possible to over stress the parts, but connection will end up so tight that it will be locked and immovable.

Riveting by gentle hammer blows is a better way to go.
