Bill Tindall, E.Tn.
There has been a lot of discussion lately on tools and not so much on using them for any product. To that end, I need to hold the corner cupboard doors closed. I think the Krenov rub catch is an ingenious solution to the problem which would have been used in 1740 had the cabinet makers of that day had ball point pen springs. It has advantages- it is silent, there is no sudden give either opening or closing(works smoothly), and it doesn't cost anything but a ball point pen spring. I snag free pens whenever I can to retrieve these springs.
A picture is worth a 1000 words so no further explanation is necessary.
Well one explanation is necessary. The brad point hole is not part of the catch. Pretend it is not there.
