Yes. The K&K data are below, again referenced from Steve Elliott’s website. The data show horizontal—pushing—force at each setting, and vertical force—whether the blade is pulling itself into the work or trying to push out.

The 4-thou chipbreaker setting, at 50 and 60 degree bevel, stopped pulling into the work at 75meters, compared to 100-150 meters for the other settings. In regard to pushing force required, the 4 thou setting required generally about 40% more push force (quick judgment by eye) than the 8 thou setting, for a given bevel steepness.

The legend is,

—black symbols are 8-thou; hollow symbols are 4 thou

—40, 50, 60 degree bevels are circle, triangle, square respectively
