Uppa heya in Miller's Falls country, oil stones are plentiful - and affordable.

Rarely will even manufactured water stones come up for sale, unless there's a restaurant supplier offering clearance.

Clapped out, thrashed and warped diamond plates sell for stupid money.

There's a gig in this, for a "Steel sommolier" to pair a given blade with an appropriately priced sharpening set.
