Thanks, Wiley, for the additional enlightenment.

When you understand something, it is often difficult to realize what those you are trying to explain it to, do not know. And, it seems that the longer you have known something the worse it gets. I sometimes think the best time to teach a skill is just after you have learned it yourself.

The chip breaker sharpening technique is kind of like the opposite of the "ruler trick" except you may need to remove a lot more material. ;)
