I've just caught up with the forum posts (was in outback Qld for a week).
It was a great effort you made to have the apothecary chest finished in time to enter it in the competition,
nothing like a bit of pressure with time limits when making critical decisions as you had with the drawer knobs and base, which I think were the right decisions as those components all looks compatible with each other.
Also thanks for posting a great review of the Perth Wood Show, the tool club's black smith display and sales tables were impressive and it was good to see Chris's smiling face there as well, I've meet him in Melbourne many years ago when he displayed his tools at the HTPAA biannual conference.
So now you have 3 months of other jobs to catch up on, so turn this off and get into it.
