The blade on Frank's saw has teeth that are bent...a gradual bend, just the tips, near the middle of the saw and at a full 90 degrees.. the entire tooth, toward the end of the saw. He started the cut with the front of the saw and as he reached the bottom of the vertical cut he pushed the saw forward and made the horizontal cut using the back part of the saw. The saw was held vertical all the time. I had read that he dovetailed the crates he used in shipping his furniture to customers. There is a video on YouTube that shows him using it. No, it is not a parlor trick.
