The more stuff I make, the more I move away from modern glues. The absolute last straw with modern glues was fitting up a perfect joint with visible through sections and having the glue seize the joint 1/64” prior to closing. No amount iof clamping pressure would continue to move the joint and taking it apart was no option. I build with a mind for glue surface and that is a double edged sword.

Hide glue and those same joints come together beautifully.
