The one cautionary note is that they're not all that much cheaper than the entire plate (maybe $15 difference).

Stu usually has them in stock at toolsfromjapan.com, and has all 4 grits right now: http://www.toolsfromjapan.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=335_462_464

You can find a bunch of people in the US (and Dieter Schmid in Germany) selling them for slightly higher prices if you search for "Atoma replacement sheet". Atoma's US distribution is steadily improving, and the prices appear to be coming down as that happens.

One other thing to be aware of is that you can get the same "podded" electroplated diamond abrasive on a PSA-backed flexible copper sheet instead of the 1 mm stainless carrier in the Atoma stones. I used a little bit of that to make a dressing tool for waterstone slips a while back. See https://www.fine-tools.com/diasharpener.html (bottom of page) and http://www.toolsfromjapan.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=335_462_544.
