Hi David

I formed a tang on the knife by cutting away some of the steel. The handle was drilled, and the top was also slotted. The blade looks from the outside like it is seated in a slot. It was a tight fit, with a little added epoxy.

The rear of the handle has a little brass button where it was indexed on the lathe.

The tapered handle offers much control when bearing down with some weight.

Regards from Cape Town

Derek
