That was just a cursory comment. You can see the crushing of the grain on the pine boards (which is common with a cap iron set too close). It's hardly a significant issue, though, as one could remedy it or just plane it off by hand.

I think the machines are great, and almost nobody else other than a few of us would notice the crushed surface. I'll see if I can find a time point in the video, otherwise, nobody will follow what I'm saying.
