Wiley - Knife Updates? ()

Wiley Horne--So. Calif.
Hi David and all,

Both knives from my recent WoodCentral-instigated spree have arrived. They are, Case Seahorse and Northfield Trapper (Improved). The Case is stainless steel; the Northfield 1095. Both stag, a completely unwarranted vanity.

To my eye, both knives have a lot of charisma, and so far I haven’t brought myself to hone either one. BTW, they both arrived quite sharp from the factory—not sharp enough to do surgery or whatever, but sharp enough to do the job of a pocket knife. Carving the protective foil out of the top of Tylenol bottles and such...

What I like, both have good size in the hand, 4”, and have heft.

Some photos. The Case is above; the Northfield is below in the photos:

Looking forward to seeing your Congress when it arrives!
