"Any thoughts on the Veritas small plough as a beader?"

Hi roger.

Being that I am not an expert hand tool user, I don't really feel qualified to offer an opinion.

That said... I think it is a nice, well built plane. I have the left handed version with the conversion kit to use wider blades. I also sent it in last year for the modification to the plane's skate to use beading blades.

I've had it for a while now and really haven't used it a lot. But when I have used it it works well and fits my hands. I don't have much to compare it to. I do have a couple old wooden beading planes that I could never get to work well and this Veritas plane seems to work better for me.

Any issues have all been user related and lack of experience on my end.

I would buy it again and have other Veritas planes and tools. As I'm sure you know, it's hard to go wrong with their stuff.

Thanks.
