Nice solution to the issues I've seen previously where the PM blades are good at edge holding, but they don't tolerate lateral forces that well (that is, they break more easily from bending).

Hard to tell from the description, but it looks like the core is powder metal and the outside is probably not (I hope not, as "not" would be better for bending strength).

I don't generally beat my tools, but once in a while when you're under something or in a corner, you know....you use what you have.

Another good item for the Christmas list. I have no good knives in stainless.
