It appears (per other posts) that the factory tooth geometry on the L-N has changed quite a bit since your writeup, such that it's almost identical to LV.

Wentzloff basically put what Mark Harrell (BadAxe) describes as a "hybrid" toothing on your IT. I've done that with a couple of my spare saws, and as you say it makes a world of difference. I personally like that toothing quite a lot.

I agree that the LV 20 tpi DT is an underrated saw. I like mine, especially now that I've made the toothing a bit more aggressive.
