I probably was a bit inconsiderate in how I said that. i think the shovels on the whole look wonderful, and doubly so for the price.

I was thinking more along the lines just of the bumpy surface on the metal, but my only reference for that (since all of the stamped shovels are polished) is how a moldboard plow pulls before the bottoms are scoured. They make the tractor work hard and pull through the soil hard.

I like to turn my garden by hand, so I'll find out. For the price of that one, I'll have to try it.
