I see the same thing. That's why I posted instructions showing how to use public Web search engines instead of the site's built-in search. WC is crawlable, so all of the content is indexed by the major engines.

Although that error is nominally about byte order (whether the most significant byte comes first or last) some digging reveals that it most likely means that the search path is trying to read from a BerkeleyDB table in an obsolete format (one that uses 32-bit integers in the header instead of 64-bit). I think that WC may rely on some fairly "vintage" tools, which is unfortunately not as good for software as it is for neander woodworking (sorry, couldn't resist).
