Your point about the influx is a good one. I think more people want to build things now that most of us don't use our hands for much during the day. We just (me included) don't want to buy anything expensive from other people.

(I'm not a millenial, though. I'm early 40s as are our friends - but they, too, have no interest in buying expensive things, and no qualms about spending $10K to go overseas with their kids for a week).
