I have to agree for musical instruments. I was given an assembled unfretted clavichord (a keyboard instrument made from a kit) years ago that was assembled with a titebond-like yellow glue and almost of the joints that were under tension failed. Those in compression seemed fine, but who knows. The builder should have used hide glue, even fresh liquid hide glue would have been better. Just my 2 cents...
