Hand Tools

So, here is a better reply.

I don't really have an argument, I a looking for a direction for my future endeavors. At the moment I am living the 17th century, with some cupboards, and a mirror later on, all for our bathroom. It's going to be a modern bathroom, with some of these ancient designs in it.

I really like this work, it speaks to me. I also like real antiques. But i don't think I will fill the entire house with medieval copies. So I am still at a loss what will be next.

I am looking for more life in my designs. I was wondering if handtools can be helpfull in this regard. It certainly seems to help in those antiques when you look at the details. It also certainly helps in blacksmith work, something I admire too, and in antique tools which I greatly amire. But I need a more thourough understanding of what handtools can deliver. And this discussion is very helpfull.

But it isn't a conclusion.
