I suppose this probably means we're going to see some very expensive LN 01 irons.

A few years ago, I had a LN #9. Nice plane, old style with the knob. I think I sold it for about $300, which is probably what I paid for it used. At the time, I got a lot of tire kickers who didn't want it because I didn't have a "hot dog". Remember the hot dog craze?

I found the knobbed 9 pretty easy to use, some others didn't.

The other day, I saw a knobbed "rare" Ln #9, used, for sale for $700. :b
