William....thanks for your reply.

When I said I'd be storing the saws above my workbench, I may have created the wrong picture. My bench has a tool tray and the storage area for the saws is behind the tray.....so the saws being stored individually and flat on the wall will expose them minimally above the bench.....still need to be careful as you've indicated but the saws should be out on line with the action on the bench.

I've kept the plastic tooth protectors that came with the saws and find they do their job. I wish that we could buy some of this plastic in length to use on saws when the need arises.....TFWW does sell a flexible plastic product in 5" length which might work.
