The shell ...

The handle is Jarrah, while the bed and front infill is Tasmanian Blackwood. Don't ask me why I did this (I think that I decided on Jarrah for the handle as it was so much more durable, and I was concerned that a handle may not last as it did not have any internal reinforcing) - over the years the colours have become very similar and the different shades have largely disappeared.
