Hi Stewie and all,

Wonderfully fine craftsmanship! i am enjoying all your posts and photos. In regard to the saws, I am curious about the details of the teeth. Do you have some standard rake and fleam that you use, or do vary these to optimize the saw to a particular hardness of wood? Do you use rakers on crosscut saws? If a rip saw, same question as to rake, and do you use zero fleam, or do you sometimes use a little angle?

Whatever you might say on these points would be interesting. I am just curious, and especially curious about saws, due to their complexity as tools.

Thanks again for your contributions,
