Subject:
Dangerous Question

Tony
I have a bronze Lie-Nielsen #4 that I had posted about in another forum with a tarnish problem. I have to take breaks from woodworking because of my health. I've been offered several solutions to take off the tarnish and a couple to keep it off. I'm not positive I want to deal with this - especially if I have to do it after every long break (depending if how effective wax is).

So now the dangerous question: I've been hankerin' to try a Veritas custom plane; thoughts on selling the LN and buying a Veritas custom #4?*

*I had a Veritas BD #4 of the previous generation and liked it ok but not the mouth adjuster (no longer an issue) and prefer the Bailey to the Norris adjuster (still something to consider).
