I'm not Derek but I felt like responding to your post. I don't like a coping saw for cutting dovetail waste.I find it too big and clumsy.I use a small jewellers saw. With mine I can turn the blade sideways in the frame.Also it holds thinner blades than can fit in the coping saw. I like the look of that saw Derek reviewed but it's too pricey for me.---Jack
