Yeah, but if your answer is one of the assumed answers but for a very different reason, you tend to feel foolish or disdainful, in which case you may decided not to answer at all or have to write a very long answer to refute the assumption. In some cases, on this forum and others, it's led to disagreements, some rancorous, like the "fear" of grinding thread.
