I understand the pleasure. I have to say this is my favourite plane. I have several LV planes. When I have the need for a shoulder plane, I pull this one out, and always enjoy using it.

The shape of shoulder planes is unusual, but required for the intended use.

I am trying to avoid the urge to get its larger sibling.
