Join me for a week of turning boxes at John C. Campbell Folk School June 12-18.

We'll explore both face grain and end grain boxes, cabochons, inlays, chatterwork, texturing, dyeing and liming and finishing techniques.

During the class we will use bowl gouges, scrapers, spindle tools, carbide cutting tools and cover sharpening and use of each tool with emphasis on safety proper use.

The environment at JCCFS is friendly, relaxed and scenic and interruptions from TV, radio and the outside world are kept to a minimum.

Oh, by the way, the food is good so bring your big pants.
