>I have a set of six Barr Cabinet Maker Chisels (FW picked these as the best chisels overall in one of their 2001-2002 articles...) and the leather tool roll that came with them. I never ended up using the chisels, so none have been sharpened more than twice. I hand-lapped all of the backs flat and polished. I also removed the handles, sanded them, oiled them with walnut oil, and reattached them. No rust, a few tiny spots of discoloration from 4 years in storage, no dings. They look unused, except that the backs are flat!
The set includes the big four plus two filler sizes: 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", and 1 inch. Barr sells these for $480. I am asking $290 plus shipping. I live in Durham, NC.
