I have a porter cable 7518 (5 speed) router that has been in a router table for probably 10 years or so. It has run about 4 hours total run time during that span, mostly cutting door parts for my kitchen, but between that going for years at a time (in a dry environment) not doing anything.
Pictures below. It is in near perfect shape, clean inside, everything works great.
Includes an aluminum rockler router plate.
I no longer have the plastic base plate for the router, but freehand is probably not the best way to go with this router. It's about 15 pounds and strong doesn't begin to describe the amount of people-throwing object-slinging torque that it generates.
Never been used for anything untoward, never actually slung an object with it, but its strength raising a cherry door panel in one pass on low speed, and the quality of the speed control in it when doing so is really impressive.
This is a made in mexico router, 2007 or so, but long before porter cable was made into a second-line brand for dewalt. It should have 98 percent of its life left.
Shipping will be the actual cost of UPS shipping for 22 pounds from zip code 15237.
