Subject:
Piece of history

Ellis Walentine
Folks, I'm in the process of downsizing our vast troves of STUFF, and so I'll be offering things here for sale to the highest bidder. I'll kick it off with a piece that was featured in the December '94 issue of American Woodworker magazine. It was designed by well-known turner and sculptor Steve Paulsen and made by yours truly. The puzzle pieces are walnut, cherry, curly maple and white oak, and the tray is Honduras mahogany.

Here's a copy of the article and a photo of the very same piece today. With a fresh coat of oil, this could be a nice little Christmas present for someone.

Reserve price is $40. Auction closes Thursday, December 1. I'll split the shipping cost with the winner.

Thanks for your interest.
