"Turning In" Sphere within a Sphere *PIC*

>“Turning In” Sphere within a sphere

This turning is made out of Paulownia and the outer sphere is 11 inches in diameter and the inner sphere is 5 inches in diameter. The opening is the natural decayed pith. The outside was carved, torched, and then burnished with a wood burner. The outside color is true to the full view of the sphere. The close up color is off. Comments are welcome.

Thank you for all the responses one the first “Sphere within a Sphere”. It helped me continue working over the past month on this one. I started working on this one in October.
