Subject:
Bar Steel stock and HSS cutters

Jennifer@Indy.USA
>Hi Gang,

I'm looking for material to make a few more small hollowing tools. I need 1/4" square bar steel and 1/4 HSS square stock for bits to silver braze onto it. I know it's been posted here...where to buy it and even part numbers I think...but my searches of the recent and archived stuff is coming up empty.

While I've got your ears....it is cold rolled I want for the shafts correct?...also....do you think 1/8" bar would be too small for use on a tool shaft that would be probably only 4" long....for use in making miniature hollows?

Thanks for any advice, help..guidance :)

Jennifer
