Subject:
Pen pricing question

David Sparks
>My friend who turns pens asked me for help in deciding how much to charge for them. I think she uses fairly standard hardware that looks nice but doesn't cost a fortune. She has sources for free wood. She asked me if there was some kind of formula for setting prices. I told her I would check with you all and see what you what think. I sell fretwork Christmas ornaments but have never determined a scientific way of setting prices. I usually set a price that I'm comfortable with and hope the customer will accept. Thank you for your help.
