Subject:
Turners wood blank exchange

Mike Cunningham
>Based upon the success of the Secret Santa and Turners exchange I'm wondering how many, if any, would be interested in participating in a wood exchange.

I'm thinking that we could exchange a blank that is perhaps unique to our area, some sort of indigenous specie or simply unique in itself with a turner from another part of the country that may not have access to this same type of wood. Perhaps a piece that is small bowl blank in size. For instance I have holly in bowl size blanks, some may not see holly in their area.

If there's enough interest I'd be happy to organize the list of names and addresses and send them out.

Thoughts?
