Subject:
Mesquite Burl Natural Edge *PIC*

Glenn Hodges
>Last March I took a trip from my home in Georgia with a woodturning buddy to Texas to get a load of mesquite. I have always admired the stuff, and wanted some. You know the proverbial story about the cow wanting the grass on the other side of the fence. This 14 in. wide X 7 in. tall burl is a piece of that wood. As you can see I had trouble with the piece and had to patch the void in the center. As always your comments are welcomed.
