>I turn a lot of wet wood and use alcohol (methyl Hydrate) to dry my rough turned pieces. I must say that it works great. Your drying system is the best of any.
My question is: I have some spalted maple that I am in the process of turning. Will the soaking in alcohol or MH kill the fungus, making it safer to finish turning when dry?
Thanks,
Norm
