>Hi folks, I have been staying away from bowls and hollow turnings lately and concentrating on goblets...man are they fun and challanging. I started out doing three piece as I like the contrasting wood. However, it seems the one piece are more fun as you have to hollow the end grain way out there away from the headstock and then do the stem. I have found it is sometimes easier to add a base later if you get the base of the stem to small.
