apple vase *PIC*

>Hey all,

I got on this forum several months ago (seems like) and asked a slew of questions about kelton Hollowing tools and turning an apple vase that I had already been working on for about a month. I just finished it...understand the I have a "real" job that takes up 40+ hours a week.

Its not perfect...the Kelton tools were a disaster for me and I ended up relying on the Sorby Hollowmaster and the Multi-tip tool. I have some (two?) tiny shallow "pits" inside...deep inside...from the Keltons (vibration, not catches) that I wasn't able to remove. But I finally did get it sanded inside to a real fine finish. Di9dn't apply any real finish to the inside but it is nearly as smooth and shiney with RenWax as the outside with MinWax Poly.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with it but would welcome any comments that might help me get better.

Apple or crabapple approx. 6" x 4" at widest and walls pretty uniform at 1/8" to 3/16" mouth 1 1/4"

hope this works...

And thanks to all who helped me!
