Subject:
Spindle spacer for Powermatic 3520

Craig Daymon
>Refresh, I found a great deal on some 6" faceplates that were threaded right for my PM 3520. Then, I posted the info here and was told in follow-up messages that the spindle on the PM is longer than most and that for the faceplates to seat correctly I would need a spindle spacer.

Powermatic had some trouble initially, but finally found the part. The problem was, what was sent out (and please, those that have one, let me know if this does not sound correct ) was a spacer for their shaper. It is NOT a THREADED part, but simply slides on and, according to PM, is the perfect size.

Thanks for the help,
Craig
