>For your response to my earlier question about clear oil finishes! I had an Ash bowl with lovely cocoa colored heartwood and creamy white sapwood. I used a thinned coat of lacquer wiped on and immediately wiped off. When it was dry I lightly sanded and applied Waterlox. Lo and behold the creamy white stayed creamy white with only a slight darkening. I am also amazed at the build I can get with the Waterlox compared to Watco. Wonderful stuff. I used the same process on a mahogany bowl and it seems to enhance the chatoyance much more than the other oils.
