Subject:
Help with Hurricane Wilma wood?

Barry Irby
>My son is momentarily in or around Homestead, FL and has found lots of trees downed by Hurricane Wilma or one of her twins. He is trying to harvest some of it before the clean up crews take it and they are working now. Says he has found lots of palms, avocados, and other interesting trees. Is anyone interested in helping and sharing? Does anyone know of a bandsaw mill or Alaska mill in the area that might be for hire. He will only be there for a week or two. This may be common wood to you folks, but it sounds very interesting to those of us not in the tropics. Is there a turning club in the area that might like to harvest some?
