Home made lathes

>Anyone know of some good sites and resources for home made lathes. I am not talking about pole lathes, or treadle lathes, though I like to look at them too. I am thinking mostly of something along the line of a Oneway rip-off, buildorama. Like the Robust lathe, though that is obviously a "product". With all the interest in welding and fabrication, there ought to be someone who has taken this on. FWW had several home made lathes, from I-beams, or the big box-O-bowl lathes.

Now that woodworking lathes cost like 6K, and metalwoorking lathes cost 1K I feel a great projest sucking sound. I already have a Graduate bowl lathe, and a Conover, so I am not in any particular rush.
