Subject:
Mail Order Wood Sources

Thomas Skaggs, Foothills of Mount Level
>I have a neighbor who is not a woodworker. However he would like to buy his brother, a hobbyist bowl turner, a couple of nice bowl blanks for a gift. We have no such retail sources locally so I told him that on-line ordering would be his best bet.

Since he doesn't know squat about wood etc. I think that giving him the link to Woodfinder would be daunting.

Can anyone suggest an easy reliable on-line mail order source or two that I can send this guy? I'm sure he would like some nice figured stuff....maybe even burl.

Suggestions appreciated!

Tommy
