Subject:
Union Jubilee Lathe *PIC*

Randy in Langley
>I was given a Union Jubilee Lathe by a very generous fellow woodworker. He didn't see himself restoring the lathe and he knew that I was looking long and hard at upgrading from my current lathe and since I'm a bit of a "Salvage Collector", I likely had some parts for it. A couple of weeks stripping and painting, wiring and fabricating and I now have the means to swing a 20" bowl or platter with complete speed control. Next is making a banjo and tailstock for it. Woodworkers are the nicest people.

Here's the way it looked when it arrived.

And how it looks now

Thanks for looking
