Frustration!

Scott Hurley in N. VA
>I took delivery of my new Jet 1642 from the local Woodcraft store this afternoon, thanks to two neighbors. We got it home, out of the box, and into the basement with very little trouble. I cleaned up all of the cosmoline (or whatever they use), assembled the whole thing, put the new adaptor on my chuck, and was ready to go. One problem - I had read somewhere that the variable speed motor didn't like GFCI circuits. How true. As soon as I hit the switch, I heard the GFCI click off. Now I have to re-do at least one of the circuits in my basement, since all the circuits are GFCI protected. It looks like tomorrow before I'll be able to give it a try. AAUUGGHH!!
