Subject:
DC and the lathe question?

Barry Irby
>I have a small shop and the lathe makes a big mess. I turn bowls and the stuff sprays every where. I mentioned down below that I have DC on my other tools but gave up when I got to the lathe. I have a 6" port waiting. Is anyone doing anything that works well?

I thought about putting up some sort of curtain like around a hospital bed/ shower curtain to try to confine the spray to a minimum. Seems like something that hung down to about waist height would do a lot to confine the chips. Maybe some of those plastic strips like they have on the doors at Lowes. I find chips ten or more feet away.
