Subject:
Opportunity for CA or equivalent?

David
>I'm in the middle of turning my first captive-ring goblet (5 year anniversary gift for the wife and I), and encountered some little bitty cracks in the wood. I've seen these before with cherry, and my experience is they'll hold up ok, but I think I'd like to fill them (not enough material left to turn them out, and who knows how deep these are).

I've seen a couple of posts on this before, but want to make sure my thinking is straight - is this a case where I would use a little CA or equivalent superglue to fill in the gap? I'm not certain of my finish yet, but it will probably be an oil finish.

Thanks -
